Bicker Fen Substation: Triton Knoll
Dobson UK provided landscaping works and are currently delivering a five year maintenance programme at Triton Knoll offshore wind farm.
The contract involved the implementation of the approved Landscaping plan which involved Notch Planting of over 11000 Transplants and Feathered Trees to a large lowland agricultural area to provide screening to a substation.
The landscaping was an important aspect of planning permission and the residents had a special interest whilst undertaking the works so we had to liaise with them on a weekly basis. We also constructed over 1500m of rabbit / stock fencing and aftercare maintenance including ring spraying.
Dobson UK were the Principal contractor on this project so were responsible for creating and implementing the CPP, carrying out site inductions to any new operatives onsite including visitors.
